Don't start the engine. Don't even turn the key. Push the car clear of the pump if you can, then call us on (08) 7083 9699. A real technician answers 24/7 and we'll talk you through the next few minutes.
No. We're fully mobile and do the whole job on site, wherever the car is. No towing, no workshop booking, no waiting around. Most metro jobs are done in under two hours start to finish.
Usually within the hour for metro Adelaide. We give you an ETA on the phone and a live tracking link once the van is rolling. Outer suburbs and the Hills take a bit longer; we always tell you up front.
24 hours, 7 days a week. A real person answers, not a machine. The phone gets handed between technicians overnight so calls never go to voicemail.
Pricing
Most jobs on a regular passenger car or ute start from $400, all inclusive. That covers travel, drain, flush, refuel, run check and legal disposal of the contaminated fuel. We quote the exact number on the phone before we dispatch.
No card surcharge, no after hours fee, no fuel disposal fee added on. The only times the price changes are bigger vehicles (vans, 4WDs with long range tanks), travel outside metro Adelaide, or if the engine has been run on contaminated fuel and parts need replacing. All of that gets quoted on the phone before we move.
No fix, no fee. If we get there and the right call is to recommend a workshop instead, you don't pay us a callout. That happens rarely but it does happen, and we'd rather give you honest advice.
Card on the spot via tap or insert. No card surcharge. Tax invoice emailed straight after the job for your records or insurer.
About the job
Petrol in a diesel is the bad one. The diesel pump and injectors rely on the fuel itself for lubrication, and petrol strips that away, so every second the engine runs makes things worse. Diesel in a petrol is recoverable; the engine won't damage itself the way a diesel does, but it'll run rough and foul the plugs until it's drained.
In the overwhelming majority of jobs, no. If the engine hasn't been started, the contaminated fuel never reaches those components. If the engine has been run on it, we diagnose on site and tell you honestly whether anything beyond the base drain and flush is needed.
Our service report is detailed and EPA compliant; manufacturers and insurers accept it. We can also liaise directly with your insurer or fleet manager if needed.
Yes, we handle those too. AdBlue in the fuel tank or fuel in the AdBlue tank both need a specialist clean out. Same approach: come to you, drain on site, flush, refill, dispose properly. Slightly different equipment, quoted separately on the call.
